Fears: Living A Fear Based Life

"We have nothing to fear, but fear itself." -Franklin D. Roosevelt.

Sadly though, a lot of us live a fear based life. We live in a world full of phobias. According to (http://phobialist.com/) there is over 500 documented phobias. That is quite the list, seeing as there is a fear of everything. Everything from the fear of spiders to the fear of water. Sometimes, we let these fears run our lives for us. Fear is a demon, and in order to slay that demon we must close our eyes and say we're not afraid.

There is a few things I myself like to do to overcome my fears. Let me share those methods with you today:

The first method I like to use is the Imagery method. Or, facing my fear each and every day. Whatever my fear may be, weather it be physical or mental. I print a picture, or draw a picture of what I feel it looks like. Some sort of picture or object that resembles what my fear is. And I hang it somewhere where I can see it, first thing in the morning. I hang it either on my door or on a mirror. I face that fear every single morning. And that will acclimate my mind into confronting it everyday, thus rendering me less fearful of that which I feared before. This method is quite direct. In some cases, I have noticed it actually made the fear worse in some people. The majority, though, do actually eventually overcome their fears within a reasonable time.

I love to use meditation in these instances. If I feel fear, or work with a client who is full of fear, I usually prescribe daily meditation. I start off with 15 minutes a day, and work it up to around 45 minutes a day after a few months. I recommend meditation, regardless. But, meditation is the best medication anyone can use. There is an old saying, that goes: "If you don't have time to meditate for 15 minutes, meditate for 30". We always have time, we just need to make it. Maybe wake up 15 minutes earlier, Spend 15 minutes less watching TV, or spend 15 minutes less on meaningless tasks. We can always find room for more time, we just have to manage it better.

Fear, often comes from our deep rooted ideologies from childhood. It could come from a bad experience, or exposure, with something we do not understand. Nothing in the world, is truly scary, or else everyone would be afraid of it. Therefore one can assume that fear can be overcome. Just as you can learn anything you set out to learn. It takes us 21 days to make or break a habit. Fear, comes from habitual rituals. When we can face our fear, and tell our fear we are no longer fearful, we can achieve true happiness. We must remember, that fear is not real, but it is only a figment of our imagination. Fear does not exist, we simply let it exist.

Living a fear based life, will lead us to living a very unfulfilled life. Lose your fears, and gain your life. Lose what is holding you back, and step forth into becoming the best version of yourself you have ever seen.

A Letter To The Lost..

Right now you are on a road in life, there is always a road being traveled. Now that might be a dirt road, a gravel road, maybe it is a road in the country or a road in a big city. Maybe that road is blacktop, a highway or a county road. Maybe that road is 4 lanes or 2 lanes. Whatever it may be, you are on a road. Where are you going? What does the horizon look like? What is behind you? What surrounds you? Do you notice anything along your path?

Imagine you find a bowl along the path. How big is the bowl? What is the bowl bade of? How full is it? Do you keep this bowl or do you drop it and leave it? When you see the bowl, how do you feel?

You walk more on this road, and notice a key hanging off a tree or a sign. What kind of key is it? What is it made of? How much does it weigh? Is it small, is it large? How connected do you feel to this key? As you progress on this road, do you decide to keep it or do you decide to leave it alone?

You now reach a fork in the road, to the right is the same path you've been on. But to the left, is a path you have yet to go down. Which way do you go? Which path do you choose to follow? The right or the left?

Whichever path chosen above, leads you to a house. This house is surrounded by a fence, how does this fence look? What material is it made of? What about the outside of the house? What does it look like? How many stories is it? Is it a big house or a small house?

Go to the door, is it unlocked? Is it locked? Did you keep that key from earlier? Go inside, what does it look like inside? Does the outside reflect what the inside looks like? Or is the inside completely different? What is the atmosphere like inside? Is it full inside? Or is it void of furniture?

Leave the house now, and go back to the road. Do you go back the way you came? Or do you decide to go on, into the unknown?

You may be asking me what all this has to do with? You may even be confused at this point. Let me explain:

The road symbolizes the life you have lived up until now.
The bowl is your feelings about money.
The key is your feelings on success.
The fence is how you set the boundaries in your life.
The outside of the house is how you present yourself onto others.
The inside of the house is your real (true) self.
The road is how far you can go into the future(life).

How did you fare? Is there anything you wish to change? Are you happy with your results? This all may not make sense at first glance. If not, I urge you to go back and re-read it. Really think about your decisions. Life is all about decisions. You choose your own destiny, your own path is carved by each and every choice you make in your life. You choose your road, you choose how much you want to fill your bowl up, weather you want the key or not, how you fence yourself off, how you present yourself to others, you choose how far you can go in life. The only thing we cannot change, is who we are. Our (true) self. We can only carve around that. We make choices based off who we are.

What choices have you made thus far in your life? Are you happy with them? Why or why not? Why did you make those choices? Were they your choices? Or did someone else influence them? You see, life is all about the decisions we make. The choices we choose to pursue. What road are you traveling right now? If you don't like it, CHANGE IT. You have the power within you to change every single thing in your life. From the people who occupy your time, to your happiness. Follow your primal instincts. Take what you want from life. The job, TAKE IT. The girl, TAKE IT. The success, TAKE IT. Do not let anyone or anything stand in your path, bust through the walls, jump over the hurdles and continue down that road to success..

Stay positive, and keep it real.

Self Reflection and Self Healing

Good afternoon everyone. I wasn't able to get my videos uploaded this morning or last night, but I can't leave you hanging without a blog post. I have been in deep contemplation these last few months, and it has brought me to this point. Self reflection and self help. These are two of the most important things one can do for themselves.

A few months ago I was cast into a world of deep depression and anxiety. My world was flipped upside down, and just a month ago it came to a screeching halt. These past weeks, have been hard. And I myself have done quite a bit of soul searching, and self reflection. Sometimes, you don't need others to help you. You don't need someone to hold your hand, what you need is yourself. To self reflect and to search for your soul, your inner power to get yourself through the troubling times you are facing. You see, when we are faced with these times of peril, we often go about it the wrong way and we end up doing more self damage than self healing.

   When I got cast into my deep depression, I took a step back from the world. From friends, and family. I took a step back from everything I was doing and I worked on helping myself and healing. Some things I recommend doing;

-Meditation:
Meditation can help you to calm your mind and get the mental clarity to stop obsessing over your situation. Meditation can help you align your thoughts and your mental state to be more relaxed and be more calm about what's going on. Deep, relaxing meditation is a self healing method that has been used for thousands of years, and I recommend doing this first and foremost when you wake up to start your day off in a calm state.

-Walking:
Not only is taking a walk good for clearing your mind, it is good for your health also. Walking gives your heart the exercise it needs to function properly. It also helps your lungs, by breathing in the fresh air. Also, being outside in the sun gives you adequate vitamin D levels, which helps reduce depression and anxiety. It is recommended to walk at least 30 minutes a day, I usually do this after my meditation.

-Drink some tea:
Seriously, brew you some green tea in the morning after your walk and sip you a glass. I choose this over coffee most mornings, because it has antioxidants as well as flavonoids that help balance your bodies natural immune system. Green tea also has less caffeine than coffee, caffeine is a good pick me up but too much can be detrimental. I usually have between 3 to 6 cups of tea a day, the green tea is only in the mornings though ( I will write another blog post soon about the different  teas I drink).

-Tai Chi:
I practice Tai Chi in the mornings to help my body move more fluidly and un-tense my body. I use about a 4-10 minute routine just to get the blood flowing. There are various videos and various sources you can find online for routines to follow.

-Stretching/foam rolling/bioenergetics:
I have talked on bioenergetics before. I learned about it through Elliott Hulse, and it is a good way to energize your body and your mind. I usually start by stretching for a bit, just intuitive stretching and feeling where my body needs it. After that I start my foam rolling routine that usually takes about an hour. After that, I do some bioenergetics, and begin my day after all of the aforementioned. I recommend searching for bioenergetics on YouTube, to get more information about it. The videos will show you the proper techniques on how to perform it on yourself.

That is my daily routine usually. and it has helped me keep on track and get out of my deep pit I was in. I learned to love myself more, and I learned to rely on myself not other people. That is the key to eternal happiness, and the key to making it through hard times. When you are faced with a troubling time, take a step back. Take some YOU time and reflect on what the situation is about. See what you could do NOW not what you could have done THEN. You cannot see a future, with eyes constantly on the past. You need to live in the now, and self heal.

I find myself often drawn to nature, and the woods in times of peril. Being out with nature can help you really put life into perspective. Going barefoot, and grounding yourself with the earth in the grass for 15-30 minutes a day can aid in anti-depression, anti-anxiety, and help you sleep better at night. I try to go barefoot everywhere I go, and when I cannot I throw on my Vibram Five Fingers or flip flops and get as barefoot as possible.

Sometimes you need to shut the lights off, put the electronics down and look up at the sky. Go out on a country road, or go to a field and look up at the stars. Look up and see the stars, the moon, the planets, and that will put life into perspective for you. I myself learned that my problems are minute, in comparison to the vast universe we live in.

Live happy.
Live well.
Do some self reflection.
Love yourself.

The Brightest Lights Shine During the Darkest Times

During this lifetime, you will have your dark days. Sometimes those days may turn into weeks, or even months. Sometimes it may be a year or two before you finally begin to see the light at the end of the tunnel. But, those brightest lights shine during the darkest of times. You are that bright light, you are the one shining, eroding away at the darkness. You may not even notice it, but you are changing the world around you. You are creating the world you are living in, and when you come to realize that, you can control any situation you come across.

We don't realize it, but our thoughts shape our actions. Those actions shape our very life before us. Therefore if you consistently think negative thoughts, we consistently do negative things, all we will see is the negative in the world around us. We start to notice all the negative things, all the bad drivers, all the broken this and dead that. We shape our world with our thoughts. We think of the world in such a negative way, and we turn on the news and that's all that it is. Negative, and more negative. Too often, we live in this negative mindset, because of the negative self image we have. We see ourselves in a negative place, so in default we also see the world around us just as negatively.

When we can go into a bad situation, and think positively about it, we can become that light shining in the dark. The world is not the bad place you see on the news, it is not the bad place you hear about from others. These people are stuck in negative self image and negative self mindsets. When you can kick this mindset and look at the world through the gaze of light, then you can begin to mold it for your betterment. You see, the kaleidoscope turns more than one way. One way may be dark, but the other brings in more light. Things aren't always as they seem at first, it is only when we look at it in a different perspective, we can finally see it for what it is. And what is it? It is simply, a situation to be molded.

There are countless numbers of ways to mold one situation, so often we choose to mold it negatively. Instead, I encourage you to look at every situation and analyze it. Look at both the negative and the positive. Look at each situation and determine how your actions will mold it. Look at your life right now, and weight the positives with the negatives. Why are the negatives negative? Say you lost your job, that's probably a negative right? Or, is it an underlying positive? Turn that job loss, into following your dreams. Turn that job loss, as a kick in the ass to start your life back up. Maybe your girlfriend left you or wife divorced you. Or, vice versa for the ladies. Turn that breakup or that divorce into an underlying positive, what ended it? What part did you play in that? Can you change yourself? Of course you fucking can. So go do it, mold yourself from those negative perspectives you've shown everyone, into a positive for the next one. Or who knows, maybe she was just giving you a wake up call.

The point I am trying to get across is this, nothing is as what it seems, until you make it what it is. You have the power to shape your own actions. When you think positively, your actions will reflect that. When your actions reflect that, you can mold your world around you. So, when you are faced with a decision in your life, or when you come to a situation. Stop and think, use your thoughts to manifest the reality you want. It's the power of positive thought people, be that bright light shining among the darkness around you. You have the ability to change the world.

How do you identify yourself?

We all have our stories, we all have things that define us. That people think of us when they see it.
We have two choices, choose things that will make others adore you. Or choose things that will make others shy away from you. Do you want to be revered or do you want to bring about a negative presence?
Now, it is your life,  do whatever the fuck you wish, but I encourage you to choose option #1 over the latter. It all comes down to the question, "How do you wish to be remembeted?"  And the sad reality is, most of us won't make the impact on the world we should be.
Most of us settle, settle for that job, settle with that comfortable life. But, complain when things don't happen how we wanted.  You hear it time and time again. "I wish I would have done this" "I should have done that". And the later years of life, are filled with regret.
The saddest aspect,  is most people are okay with this.  They are okay with being a drone. Working the generic 9-5. They are okay with smashing their dreams into the back of reality. Not caring that they're living less than they deserve. They settle, for the mundane and the constant.
You see, most of us fear the unknown. Yet,  the unknown is what we already know. We just have to discover it ourselves. The unknown, is not scary. It is not to be feared. The unknown, to get uncomfortable,  is growth. Growth, means at some point you have suffered.  To live is to suffer,  to survive is the find meaning in the suffering.
You can either suffer, in suffering. Or you can suffer in success.
You choose.

Late Night Ramblings of A Conscious Mind.

3 A.M. The witching hour, when it is said demons, ghosts and all things that go bump in the night are suppose to roam free and be at their most powerful. According to folklore this time originally was 12 A.M. but progressed to the 3 A.M. time we now have. All things weird, always happen around this time of night, as do all things powerful. Many fear the witching hour, some embrace it. The fear comes from the unknown, we all fear the unknown. Talking to new people. Trying to close a business deal. First dates. School tests. Driving for the first time. There are many things we fear, because of not knowing what could happen.

I urge you to tap into your inner child. Think back to when you were a child. Fear of the unknown, but that fear didn't stop you did it? You feared what would happen if you started to crawl, but you crawled. You feared to walk, but you began to walk. You feared the baby food, you but you ate it. You feared some of the foods that were presented to you, but you ate them. You feared running for the first time, but you ran. You feared going to the bathroom by yourself, but you did it. You must tackle all of life like you are still a child. Running into the unknown, fearless. Running into the unknown, and tackling it head on.

We cower in our rooms, our homes, our places of work. We fear the unknown, because we have adapted this fear out of emotional responses over our years on this earth. We develop these things, as defenses against that which could possibly hurt us. The truth of it is, you are going to get hurt. Sometimes, you are going to get hurt a lot. It will hurt, and some pain will seem like it will never go away. You may fear the unknown, or you may fear the known. What has happened in the past can plague us daily. We think that each situation can have the same outcome. I know that, because I was just like you. I thought this way for YEARS upon YEARS. In fact, I thought this way for over 10 years. You, you will stop today.

You are the gate keeper to the mental fucking prison you are in. The mental prison society has given us. "Sit down and shut the fuck up" they say. "Fall in line." They tell you. Grow up, go through school, go to college, get a job, it'll all be alright! FUCK THAT. Pave your own path, find your own way. Grab the key from those greedy bastards and unlock that prison you've been locked in. Quit the job you hate. Leave the nagging relationship that you get nothing from. Distant yourself from people who take and never give. Break free from the damn prison your mind is locked up in. Get away from societies view of the perfect life. Live your own perfect life. Break free from the habits designed by society. Break free from all that is holding you back.

You are your own worst enemy. You are the only one who can change your life. These people, who try to install authority over your life. Make you fall in line, like the rest of the good sheep. Do not let them do it. Break free from the chains and the bond. Emotion, they say it's not normal. Adults shouldn't scream, shouldn't cry. Adults shouldn't have emotion. I say scream your fucking lungs out! Cry! Laugh! Have a good time and be human. Be free, be the person you were intended to be. Stop fearing the unknown, stop letting them be in control.

Go into the unknown, slap fear in the face.
Go into the unknown, and scream.
Go into the unknown, and live.

That's all for now, bedtime for me.
Check back tomorrow, for the morning post.
Until then, stay free,
Corey.

A Wolf Doesn't Concern Himself With the Opinion of A Sheep.

"It's not about what you do, it's about who you are becoming."-Elliott Hulse.

That quote, has stuck with me since the day I heard it. We go through life, and we have it all laid out in front of us. We have the perfect college lined up, with the perfect job after college, with the woman of our dreams, the perfect car, house, kids, friends, everything. We have it all planned out. And live in this bubble, that we form around ourselves where nothing gets in and nothing gets out. Until, it does. Then we are stuck there, wondering what the hell we are going to do. We fabricate this world around us, and forget that there is a whole outside world, itching to get in. What does that, have to do with the quote mentioned? It has everything to do with it. Because, it's never about what you do. You can do whatever you want in life. You can do anything to your hearts content. But, who are you becoming in that process? Who are you, at the end of the day?

You see, you can go to college, get a job, get a house, a wife, kids. But, who are you? Look in the mirror and ask yourself who are you becoming? Is it the person you thought it would be? Is your life's work beneficial or detrimental to your life? Are you becoming a better father, husband, son, daughter, wife, person? Or, is it acting negatively upon your life? These are the things we don't look at when we make choices. When we plan our lives out. We don't realize, that each choice we make grows us as a person. It creates a new avenue for personality traits to slip in, that we never knew we harbored. You may become the best lawyer, the best basketball player, best power lifter, the best at what you sought out to do. What did that gain you? Besides a trophy, besides bragging rights? Who are you becoming as a person, along with what you are doing?

We often find ourselves at a loss. We hate our lives, our jobs, our situation. We hate a lot of things. Instead of loving life. Life is a wonderful thing man, it really is. Life is what you make it out to be. Life is how you perceive it. If all you do is watch the news, you are going to see the world differently than if you went out and experienced it yourself. Are you living your life through the eyes of someone else through a screen? Do you see the world through a looking glass, and it's all negative all the time? Bring the positive into YOUR world. Be a better you, a stronger you, a happier more vibrant YOU. Quit worrying about what goes on in the world, you can't change other peoples minds. But you sure as hell can change your own damn mind. Instead of watching television and the news at night, or during the day. Pick up a book. Live your life through the eyes of a fictional character. And realize, that the life you live is full of adventures like those you read about just in a different form.

Life is what you make it. It really is, it's nothing short of greatness. You are nothing short of greatness. You just have to unlock your greatness.  You have to BECOME who you want to be. King, magician, warrior and lover. Such a good book by Robert Moore and Douglas Gillette. Every man has those traits in him. And every man needs to unlock them, and know when to be them.

Be the King of your castle. Rule, not with an iron fist, but not with a soft fist either. Prove you deserve the role of King. And treat others accordingly. Your wife, like a Queen. Your sons, like princes. Daughters, like princesses. Treat your kingdom, rightfully so. Never relinquish your rights as King. Prove that you have what it takes to provide for your castle. Become King in everything you do. Become King when the timing is right, and rule over your life.

Be the Magician, the one who gets things done. Be the magician, and make the magic happen. Make people in awe at you and all that you do. Be magical in all aspects of your lives. Never reveal your secrets. When things look rough, always make that positivity appear.

Be the Warrior. Go to battle for your kids, your family, your wife, yourself. Do not be afraid of getting your hands dirty. Get down to it, and get it done. Be on the front lines for yourself and your family. Be a warrior in life, take what you want. Be what you want. Never cower in fear, you are the fear.

Be the Lover. Tender and kind in all that you do. Even in times of war. Know when to be loving. Know when to put the ego aside. Know when peace is needed, and when it is not. Do not go through life minus the lover side of you.

Be all these, they are all 1/4th of your being. Know when to let the ego slide. Know when to get ride of the 'I' persona that is in all of us. Know when to be a King, when to be a Magician, when to be a Warrior and when to be a Lover. Get them balanced in your life. Be who you are, and be who you are strongly.

Who are you becoming? Are you becoming who you thought you were going to become? Are you becoming who you SHOULD be becoming in your own mind? Why or why not? The choice is yours. The ball is in your court. It matters not what you are doing in life, only who you are becoming. A wolf does not concern himself with the opinion of a sheep. Nor should you concern yourself with the opinions of those who are stuck in life themselves.

Would you take the opinion on losing weight, from someone who is overweight? Would you take the opinion on being a successful business man, from someone who never owned their own business? These are the things you need to ask yourself when someone offers you advice. Take each word of advice you are given with a grain of rice. And sift through the bullshit. Dictate your own life, like a King would. Only you can crown your fucking self. Only you can snatch that crown from the naysayers. Be a King, Magician, Warrior, and Lover. Look at who you are becoming, it is far more important than what you are doing. Live your life, and have fun with it.

Feed the Negative.

Now, you might just be thinking "Man, this guy has gone completely insane". Reading the phrase,
"Feed the negative", would have some people running for the hills. Why would we feed the negative? Isn't that the opposite of what we want to do? Isn't that completely against everything we are taught? We are taught to keep the negative out, to always be positive. The fact of the matter is, that's a complete lie. You never want to remove the negative 100% of the way out. It's just not plausible. There is ALWAYS going to be negativity. You will always feel some sort of negative. And, when you feel that negativity you should feed into it.

By feeding it, I do not mean that you go completely negative yourself. What I mean, is to feed positive energy into the negative energy you are being hit with. To say, "My life is always positive, I never have negativity", is both ignorant and arrogant. Everyone has a negative feeling arise, a negative situation, negativity is everywhere. We can choose to fan the flames, or extinguish them, To pour more fuel on them(negative) or to pour water on them(positive). How we do this, is up to ourselves. We can choose to either ruminate on that which is nagging at us. Or, we can choose to move on and forget it ever happened. What you choose, is what you become.

You see, you can take a negative situation and turn it positive. Or, you can keep it negative. The choice is yours. There are people out there, 10X, 100X worse off than you and I. They make it work. You get the luxury of sitting inside a warm house in the winter, and a cold house in the summer. A stocked refrigerator, blankets when you're cold, a fan or air conditioner when you're hot, prepackaged meals all you have to do is heat up for 2 minutes in a microwave. I mean come on, how NEGATIVE is your life. You can always find a positive. Am I saying, that prepackaged foods and all that are good? By no means, do I advocate eating that kind of diet. BUT, the point I am making, is a lot of people have nothing and STILL find a positive. Why can't you?

Sit there, with the lights off, eyes closed, and think for a moment. Think of all the negative in your life. Think of how it effects you, how much it is impacting your life. Now, think of the positive. Think of how it effects you, how it is impacting your life. Open your eyes, and write down the negatives, and the positives. If your list for negatives is longer than positives, you have a problem only you can fix. Short of starvation and abuse, the negatives cannot be as bad as we perceive them to be. Then again, they may be. We all feel things differently. We all react differently to each situation. Take 10 people, and give them the same situation. Odds are, 10 different results.

So, I guess in closing. Just think, think real hard about the negatives and positives in your life. When a negative arises, feed into it. Feed those positive energies into it. Because, only YOU can change your life. Only YOU can make the situation better. We have a 3 choices when faced with adversity:

Let it control you.
Let it define you.
Let is strengthen you.

What do you choose, to do with your negatives?

The Importance of Routine.

All successful people have a routine. Weather it be to wake up at 5 A.M. and make coffee, go for a run, and begin their work day. Or, they wake up and they meditate, read, eat a bowl of oatmeal and read the newspaper. A routine is essential to getting what you want out of life. Habits, are a good thing to adopt. They say, it takes 21 days for something done repetitively to become habit forming, Meaning, that new routine you started yesterday that seems daunting, will become a habit 20 days from now. Don't give up just yet.

The importance of ritual comes from times, well beyond our spectrum. Many years ago, our ancestors themselves partook in routine and rituals. Things we consider jobs or sport now days, they considered habit, routine. Foraging for food, scavenging for that little morsel to eat. Hunting, or being hunted sometimes. It was all a survival routine. Now, we go to the supermarket in our car and get a frozen dinner for less than or right at $1.00 and we are good to go. But, in fact, we are not good to go. We have lost, the routine to survive. We put all our success into prepackaged meals, automobiles and reality television.

Instead of regular human interaction. Instead of hunting, daily for our food. Instead of looking for our means for survival, braving the elements. We live comfortably. I'm, for one, not complaining. I am sitting inside a house, that isn't 28 degrees. With wind, and I don't have to brave the elements. I bring you guys words through electronic devices. But, it deeply saddens me that we have lost our will to achieve a higher self. We pawn our time off onto television and video games. I know, I'm one to talk, I can be found on occasions playing video games.

My point is, find a routine and follow it. I myself, have adopted a new morning routine. And, I quite enjoy it.

I wake up, and instantly drink at least 1 glass/bottle of water. Before my feet hit the floor.
Next step, foam rolling. All those tight and tense muscles. Getting them nice and loose.
Tai-Chi follows that.
Next up, this blog post.
After that, will come stretching/yoga.
Following that, will be meditation.
And, lastly, I'll end it all with a nice cup of hot tea, and a semi cold shower.

Now, that will be my routine. That may vary slightly, I may skip the tea and opt for a workout if it's the day to workout.

Nightly routines, are also just as important as morning routines. We fall into this electronic trap, and it keeps us up at night. Television, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, ETC. It all becomes no monogamous, we forget what we are even doing. Instead of that television show you watch right before bed, opt for a chapter in a book. You don't like to read books? Try and audio book. I frequently listen to those. It's all about adopting healthy habits. Weather it be a workout routine, or weather it be simply a routine when choosing food.

My new nightly routine, will be as follows:
A glass of sleepytime or another form of sleep tea.
A half bottle or glass of water to follow.
A nightly Stretch/yoga session, short.
A hot shower/bath to release tensions.
Meditation,

I always end my sessions with meditation, because meditation both frees the mind and the body. It can give you mental clarity as well as physical release of tensions.

So go out, and map out a routine for yourself. Less electronics, more along the lines of natural, organic means. Pick up a book series, learn about meditation, deep breathing, bioenergetics, tantra, yoga, tai-chi, and adopt some healthy habits for the new year.
